I’m making my first New Year’s Resolution in ages: to read at least 12 novels from authors of young adult fiction who are publishing their first novel in 2010. The gauntlet was thrown down by The Story Siren. If you would like more information on the 2010 Debut Author Challenge or wish to join the challenge please go here.

I’m so looking forward to reading it! Normal is so overrated. By the way, can’t wait for the “bythewayiamgoingtobepubishedinGermany” t-shirts.
YAY! Thanks for joining the challenge! It’s going to be so much fun! And what a great list! Happy reading!
Great list! 2010 can’t get here soon enough!
I can’t tell you what a thrill it is to see my book on your list. Thank you!!!!
Christy Raedeke
I’m so looking forward to reading your book! Good luck getting the sequel done. It looks like you’ve got about ten days left at this point. Also, nice to see that there is another Christy out there–not too many of us spell our name the right way.
Thank you so much for including The Cinderella Society in your challenge! You just made my day.
Happy holidays!
I’m so excited to read your book! The teaser took me back to when I was in middle school and my friends and I (who were not in the popular crowd) dreamed of creating our own type of Cindy society. I always wondered what would have happened if we did create such a group (and always feared it would end badly). Now I can finally find out! Looking forward to April!
Yay! Thanks for including my book Palace Beautiful! Enjoy!
-Sarah DeFord Williams
Thanks for noticing! I’m looking forward to your book. I love the idea that it tells a story in two different time periods. it sounds like a really good read.
Thanks so much for including NICE AND MEAN! I don’t know what age you teach (I used to teach seventh grade), but if you like middle school drama-trauma, you’ll find a lot in those pages. Happy new year and happy reading!
Jessica
I teach both seventh and eighth grade (much more drama in eighth grade). I am so looking forward to your book and it comes out just in time for me to put on my summer reading list! Happy New Year to you, too! (By the way, your website is just beautiful!)
Summer reading list–wow! That’s such a compliment. If there’s anything I can do to add to your class’s experience, either before or after the summer, do let me know. I have a bunch of discussion guides on my website and am ready to take the plunge into the world of virtual author visits if the occasion arises!
Wow! I’m so happy to be a part of this list. Thank you so much for including INCONVENIENT!! I hope you like it!
Thanks for including Three Rivers Rising on your list—hope you enjoy it!
